Mike met up with this cat named Woody Dickson. Noticing that Woody plucked a mean mandolin, Mike convinced him to join him in the pursuit of making the people of Galveston (and Galveston County) marvel at the unique use of this 8-stringed acoustic instrument.
Then One Thing Led to Another…
Eventually a miscreant from the nearby town of Houston was recruited to joined the group to add a high end (and occasional low end) to the august duo’s inimitable palette. Before anyone knew what was happening, Rawslyn Ruffin had become a member of Galveston’s most eclectic Rock ‘n’ Roll group….
